Owner, Lead Fabricator and Welder

Meet Peter O’Connor, the veteran owner, lead fabricator and welder of OC Structural Steel. With over 40 American Welding Society certifications, Pete is a skilled and dependable professional in the industry. He has worked on a range of projects, from major new residential builds to structural steel for iconic destinations such as Disney World and Universal Studios while at previous employers. He is proud to represent his fellow Marine Corps Veterans and fellow welders in the State of Vermont as a structural steel provider. He is known for his attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work for his clients. Peter comes from a family of craftsmen and women, including his grandmother who was a welder on water towers in Massachusetts.

Before launching OC Structural Steel, Peter was the Shop Foreman of a structural steel provider, a top graduate of a Community Development program, a 1st place welding competition holder, and top graduate of the Advanced Welding Institute.
